Idaho Water Resources Research Symposia Research to Support Management of Idaho's Waters November 28th & 29th, 2006 in Boise, Idaho
Come join your colleagues at the 2006 Idaho Water Resources Research Symposia to be held in Boise on November 28th and 29th, 2006 by presenting the results or your research, finding out what other researchers are doing across the state, and entering into discussions on the direction that future water resources research should take in Idaho. Oral and Poster presentations are being solicited for the symposia that address a wide range of research topics, including disciplinary studies (e.g. hydrology, hydrogeology, engineering, modeling, water economics, social science environmental policy, ecohydraulics, etc.) watershed and basin specific studies (e.g. Snake River drainage, Rathdrum Prairie, Palouse Basin, Lake Coeur d’Alene, Treasure Valley, etc.), as well as any studies that can help aid in understanding and managing Idaho’s most valuable resource.
Symposia Registration
The rates to attend the Symposia are:
Full Registration: $100 Student Registration: $25
Registration will include attendance at all Symposia Sessions, lunches during both days of the Symposia and an Ice-Breaker reception on the first evening of the Symposia.

Symposia Location
The Symposia will be held at the DoubleTree Riverside Hotel and Convention Center, just west of Downtown Boise.
Directions to the Symposia: Interstate 84 West, exit 49 to Interstate 184 East, exit 3 to Fairview Avenue. First left onto Garden Street, continue through stop light, hotel on right hand side, next to Joe's Crab Shack Restaurant.

Abstract Submission (Deadline was 10/15/06)
Abstracts of papers and projects are currently being considered for presentation during the symposia.
Abstracts must contain:
- The author’s name, title, affiliation and contact information;
- Co-authors’ names, titles and affiliations;
- Type of presentation (oral, poster or panel session);
- Title of Abstract; and
- Text of Abstract (400 words or less).
