Into the Watershed - April 29 - May 1

The Reynolds Creek Watershed Research Unit has been in operation since 1960 and has gathered hydrologic and climatic information and conducted research in the watershed since that time. This historical perspective will provide the framework for discussions related to the challenges of watershed managers, current research, issues resolution, as well as the perspectives of the day to day ranchers using the watershed.

This workshop is designed for teachers interested in learning more about hands-on site investigations into their local watersheds. Use and application of support curricular materials will also be presented as well as suggestions for connecting with local watershed managers and experts in your area. Only 15 participants will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. Two credits ($120). Workshop fee $50.
